New York

I went to NYC for a week. Watched the Maloof contest, checked out a schoolyard set up by Billy Rohan (one radical dude). The schoolyard had a massive Vans ad/banner 12′ or so tall, when I got up close I realized it was had painted by an OG sign painter…pretty amazing. Went and saw Grandpa at Autumn, one of my favorite skate shops for sure. Drove all around Queens and Brooklyn, saw the dudes at KCDC and Mollusk. Sat under the Empire State building at a favorite bar. I went out to Philly and skated FDR for the first time since like 1996 or something (when there was only one corner). It was a good trip. Thanks again Stevie for the hanging out and for driving.
